Bring on the fun...

So... what's been going on with me??

Well... last week I was super ill. Was horrible- I had anemia so was all weak and such. Wasn't nice at all I tell thee.

So last week consisted off me having a love affair with my duvet and TV because I was literally too weak to do anything. Was not good.

BUT. I rested and I can tell you I'm BACK ON FORM!

Yes!

Had a lovely weekend, went to get some tasty wraps at Chiquitos and then went to our favourite place in the world... the cinema!!!

Saw that 'Lovely Bones'. Unfornately, I can't say the film is very lovely... was horrible! as really really graphic and depressing! I mean, I knew it was gonna be sad because it's about a little girl being murdered, but it really was quite distrubing.

I think I'm just going to stick to my comedies in future!

So yeh, that was the Fri, and then the Sat I went to a house partaaaaay... Was really good because it was with my old college mateys so was nice to see everyie together again. I mean, it's obviously not completely the same anymore, we're not 'best friends in the world anymore' but it's still nice to meet up and talk about the good old college days... and man they were good!

Got more drunk than I should have though (again)... on vodka (again), but guess what I drank it with...? Cheryade! Haha I know, random... but yeh, don't do it! Was really horrible and hardly covered up the vodka taste... bleurgh.

AND it gave me the biggest hangover next day, parecetamol was definitely my best friend that morning!

So overall, good weekend!

And hopefully it's gonna be a good week! I mean, it's gonna be truely hectic as I have SOOOOO much to do (radio package, gigs, assignments, partying) but I think I can handle it...

BRING.IT.ON

lol

Anyways, Glee'll be on soon, so must dash...

Much Love

So... I think I've turned into an actual geek!

So yeh, if you've read my other blogs then it's quite easy to see that I'm really into 'Heat Magazine' more than I am 'The Daily Herald'.

I mean, I'm not a thicko... I've always been quite studious and what-not, but when it comes to the news stands in WH Smiths, I choose the celeb mags over science ones. And I definitely prefer a tabloid over a broadsheet.

So, imagine my surprise when it turns out I like politics?

Yes, celeb goss queen Samantha Bartlett likes listening about the likes of Gordon Brown and old Davie Cameron.

I was SHOCKED.

Haha.

It all began when I actually started going to my Public Affairs (e.g. politics) lessons at Uni. I had my phone fully charged and a magazine ready in my bag to prepare for the boredom.

However, to my amazement, I found myself gripped with the goings-on that were being discussed within the class and I was absorbing it all!

It was truely amazing.

Our tutor kept asking us if anyone had seen 'Question Time' on the BBC and, of course, no one had. So I decided this morning that I (instead of going to shorthand) I would watch an episode.

As I clicked onto the 'BBC Iplayer' and found the programme, I recoiled in horror that it was 1hr long.

I didn't think I could go through with an hour to be honest, I mean, it's a TV show about politics!

However, I clicked the little 'play' icon anyway and decided to watch.

The first person I saw was MP George Gallaway, who I instantly recognised as the guy that acted like a cat on Big Brother.

"Great" I thought, "Maybe it's just the same, they get them in a room and doing all sorts of weird shenanygans."

Of course it wasn't, they just sat there and talked. But, again, I was amazed to be enjoying their talks.

They were arguing and bitching to each other about all sorts of subjects that were in the news that I found I was really interested in.

I found myself wishing I was in the audience so I could ask them a question that would make them squirm or stutter!

Of course, this surprised me again greatly. Was a good surprise though, like you think that you've failed a test and get an A. Felt all cultured I did.

But yeh, I lasted the whole hour (apart from a trip to the kitchen to eat frazzles). But yeh, pleased with myself was I.

SO, there you have it. I'm a politics queen, well, princess maybe, erm... okay, maiden... WHATEVS.

So instead of 'The Hills' and 'America's Next Top Model' I might sit and watch another Question Time for my amusement.

Now where's my Heat Magazine!
